Joyce Paul, age 76, passed away on January 3, 2015. Funeral Services were held on January 7, 2015, in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary. Burial followed in the Bradley Baptist Church Cemetery. Joyce was born in Thomson, Ga. She graduated from Thomson High School in 1957. She graduated from the Macon Hospital School of Nursing in 1960. Joyce served on the faculty of the School of Nursing as Clinical Instructor, Recruiter and Director of Admissions. Later she worked with the Georgia Student Finance Commission as Financial Aid Consultant. She retired in 2004 after 27 years of service. Joyce was an avid gardener and loved working in her yard. Throughout her lengthy illness, she always maintained an upbeat attitude and greeted you with a smile. Joyce was a longtime member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents Mary Lou and Emory Pollette and her sister, Doris P. Elliott. Joyce is survived by her brother-in-law Mickey V. Elliott, niece Amanda Elliott, and nephews Mike Elliott and Mark Elliott, all of Texas.
