She was a daughter of the late Robert T. and Caroline Emmert Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Perry; a sister, Edna Poff, and two brothers, Eugene and George Williams.

Mrs. Perry was a retired nurse from Carter County Memorial Hospital, having worked there for 37 years.

She was a member of the East River Park Christian Church but attended the Valley Forge House of Prayer.

Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2003 in Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services and interment were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2003 in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
