PROMINENT MACON BUSINESS MAN DIES
Ralph Carr Passes Away Sunday Afternoon

Ralph R. Carr, prominent business man of Macon, passed away in St. Luke's Hospital, in Chicago, Sunday afternoon at 5:30, after an illness of five months.
Mr. Carr was first stricken last June with a progressive paralysis of his nerves, and for the past three weeks has been receiving treatment at St. Luke's.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carr, born in Bevier on February 4, 1899, Mr. Carr was 40 years old at the time of his passing. He was reared in Bevier and entered business there. In 1933, he moved to Macon, and entered business here, where he has been prominent in civic affairs. Mr. Carr was a member of the Elks, and other Macon organizations.
On December 10, 1924, he was united in marriage with Lucy Buanchi, of Bevier, and four children were born to this union.
Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Marguerite, Rosella, and Loretta Jean; on son, John; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carr of Bevier; and three brothers, Roy, of Bevier, Ozzie of Kansas City, and Willis of Denver, and many other relatives and friends.
the body will arrive in Macon this evening at 5:30, where it will lie in state at the Stephens and Goodding Funeral Home until the funeral services.
Services will be held at 9:30 Wednesday morning at the Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. P. B. O'Rourke, and burial will be made in the Bevier cemetery under the direction of Stephens and Goodding.
