Robert G. (Bob) Hamlett age 82 of Huntsville passed away on January 5, 2015. Bob was predeceased by his daughter Angie Butler. He retired after 33 years of service from Redstone Test Center. He also was a member of Monrovia Church Of Christ where he served several years as an Elder. Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years Kay Hamlett, sons, Danny and his wife Paula Hamlett, Tim and his wife Ginger Hamlett, grandchildren John and Brett Butler, Sera and Carly Hamlett, Jordan, Jake and Logan Hamlett, brother Larry Hamlett, sister Marie Balderson, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of his Life will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Monrovia Church of Christ with Ray Palmer and Nicky Faught officiating with interment to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12-2 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to AGAPE of North Alabama or to The Alzheimer Association.
