SENIA AHONEN WESSON WRIGHT WOMBLE

Senia Womble of Florence, passed away January 4, 2016 at her residence. She was born Jan 15,1920 and was the last surviving child of Jacob and Christene Ahonen who emigrated from Finland in 1906. She retired from TVA in 1983 after 38 years of service. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and spouse. She was loved by all. Senia gave her heart to the Lord in 1962. She was a faithful member of Underwood Baptist Church for 54 years, and a choir member for 24 years.

Mrs. Womble was preceded in death by her grandsons, Jeff and Keith Yerbey; brothers, Enio and Bill Ahonen; sisters, Hulda Wharton, and Alma Seppenan; and late husbands, Harvey Wesson and Andrew Wright.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Womble; children, Elaine Wesson Kelley (Kenneth), Helen Wesson Smothers all of Florence; step-children, Joel Womble, Jean Ann Blethen, and Jane Penczak all of MI; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
