Hans Peter Jorgensen was born in Svendborg, Denmark. He is 2nd of 6 children born to parents Neils Christian Jorgensen & Kjeistina Erickson.

Hans Peter Jorgensen at the age of 16, along with two brothers, Lars Christian & Eric Christian) emigrated from Denmark during 1872. Father, Neils Christian Jorgensen Mother, Kjeistina Erickson Jorgensen, and Sister Petrea emigrated from Denmark during 1873. The family settled at Fountain Green, Sanpete Co., Utah.

During 1872-1874 Hans Peter Jorgensen served a mission in Scandinavia. Along with 10 other returning Elders and 54 emigrating LDS Saints, he boarded the ship "Ethiopia" which departed Glasgow 26 Jul 1894. He then returned to Fountain Green, Sanpete Co., Utah

Anna Marie Kristine Olsen, along with her Mother (Larsine Sorensen Olsen) and brother (Christian Emil Olsen) emigrated from Denmark during 1894. They were probably aboard the ship "Ethiopia".

Hans Peter Jorgensen & Ane Marie Kristine Olsen were MARRIED 28 November 1894 at Manti, Sanpete Co, Utah.

They made their home at Fountain Green, Sanpete Co, Utah. Mother, Larsine Sorensen Olsen, lived with them.

Family relocated from Fountain Green to Mount Pleasant about 1900
