She was born on August 15, 1928, in Franklin Township, the daughter of Frank O. and Hilda A. (Fisher) Peterson.
Evelyn married A.J. Bradstreet, Jr. on November 8, 1947, in Hudson. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1993.
She was a secretary for Bradstreet's Plumbing and Heating, and later for the Lunch Program at Addison Schools.
Evelyn was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Jackson and a volunteer for Foote Hospital in Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Richard and Herbert Peterson. Funeral Services for Evelyn will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Noon with Pastor Leo Cumings officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation will be on Friday, January 9, 2015, from 6-8 P.M. and Saturday for an hour prior to the service.
