Born September 7, 1916, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Merril and Ruby Kennedy Baird. She married Robert Wilfred Robb on July 31, 1941. He died September 3, 1991.
Mrs. Robb was a graduate of Mediapolis High School, attended Geneva College, and graduated from Burlington Beauty School. She operated a beauty shop in Mediapolis and then in 1965, started a shop in her home. She worked as a beautician at the Morning Sun Care Center for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Sharon Reformed Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the women's missionary society. She also taught Vacation Bible School and Sabbath school for many years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening and knitting stocking hats for newborns at Great River Medical Center.
Survivors include four sons, D. Roger Robb of Schererville, Indiana, Thomas Robb of Boardman, Ohio, Steve Robb of Anchorage, Alaska, and Kim Robb of Morning Sun; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two infant sisters.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun, where the family will meet with friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
A memorial has been established for the youth programs of the Sharon Church.
