Funeral services for Dana Paige Bordelon Odom of Joaquin, Tx formerly of Simmesport, La will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 beginning at 10am at the First Baptist Church of Simmesport, La. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will resume Wednesday at 8am at the First Baptist Church of Simmesport, La. Burial will be held at the First Baptist Cemetery in Simmesport, La. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.

Dana Odom, age 50, entered into eternal rest from a tragic accident on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Dana or Suga as fondly named by her Grandchildren, should be remembered for the light that she brought into this World. Those who knew and loved her will sincerely treasure her infectious laugh and go-get-it attitude. Dana was a success in achieving her lifelong goals from her former beauty queen reigns, to her pursuit in furthering her educational and professional life. She leaves behind memories of her mouth watering cooking, her love for Elvis Presley, and a beautifully designed family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Weaver Bordelon maternal Grandmother, Helen Peavy paternal Grandparents, Dewey Elvina Bordelon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Jason Odom, Sr. of Joaquin, Tx daughter, Amanda Guilbeau Lacombe Keith of Marksville, La son, CPL Christian Guilbeau of Covington, La stepsons: Jason Odom, Jr. Ethan Odom of Joaquin, Tx parents, Douglas Patricia Bourdeaux sisters: Terry Moreau of Livingston, La, Helen Bordelon of St. Francisville, La, Shelley Hukins of Simmesport, La brothers, Darin Gus Bordelon Stacey of Pearl River, La and Frank Boudreaux Carla of Marksville, La grandchildren, Caroline Lacombe, Drew Donovan Lacombe, Weston Lacombe all of Marksville, La maternal Grandfather, Charles Peavy, Sr. Barbara of Livingston, La.
