SPARKS, Mary Jo 80, of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2014 in her residence. She was born on February 19, 1934 in Cookeville, TN to the late John and Vallie (Herren) Chaffin.

Mary Jo was a member of Northridge Church of Christ. She loved being outdoors and taking walks. Mary Jo was a kind hearted and generous soul who was always willing to help others.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Sparks; her daughter-in-law, Mary Sparks and brother, Keith Chaffin.

Mary Jo is survived by her loving Children, Bill Sparks, Barry (Patricia) Sparks; grandchildren, Penny, Carrie, Billy (Amy), Bobby (Angela), Amy (Charlie), Angie (Jason); great grandchildren, Noah, Tessy, Betty, Lucas, Austin, Kolhton, Aunila, James, Jaila, J.C., Jason, Jenna, Mya, Ashley & Tiffani May; sister, Sue (Aaron) Lewis; special friend, Ruth Butler; numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.

Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10 am Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Collier, officiating.

Burial will take place at Willow View Cemetery.
