Ward, Frederick B. Montague Age 73, passed away on December 22, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He fought a long and hard fight to stay with us but God decided he suffered enough. He was born on March 4, 1941, to Leonard Ward Sr. and Naomi (Fuller) Ward, He married the former Sandra TenBrink on January 28, 1964. Fred proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps, 1959-1963. He retired from Hayes-Lemmerz Co. in 2007. He was a strong hardworking man who loved his family. After retiring, he enjoyed going to auctions, deer hunting in the fall and walking his dog, Ozzy, every day. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sandra Ward, son, Frank (Ann) Ward, daughter, Tambera (Bruce) Berant, two grand daughters, Marissa and Alyssa Ward, two brothers, Leonard (Margaret) Ward, Jr., James (Shari) Ward, and a sister, Barbara Delano. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Sherry. The angel rises with his broken wings as if they are becoming whole. A shattered heart from the crules of a cold world begin to heal as he rises up from down below. His soul glistening as he gets closer to his true home. A spot in heaven for him to lay at peace in his rest, a once broken angel has now become blessed.
