Margie Housley Wallace

CLINTON – Margie Housley Wallace, 90, completed her earthly journey Friday, January 2, 2015. She was born June 6, 1924 in Willard, Utah, a daughter of LeRoy Housley and Elizabeth Lewis Facer. On June 6, 1941, Margie married Kenneth Elmo Wallace in Willard, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to serve and served in various callings in her Ward. She served a mission at the Kaysville Bishops Storehouse for over ten tears. She graduated from the LDS Institute at Weber State College. Margie worked side by side with her husband in the watermelon field. Margie had a talent and love for writing poetry and short plays. She took pride in her yard and it was always beautiful under her care. She liked camping and spending time with her family. Margie is survived by her children, Colleen (John) Manzanares, Kaysville; Bob (Tami) Wallace, Clinton; Janet (Dave) Weight, Syracuse; Kris (Sandy) Wallace, Clinton; 15 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bernard Housley, SLC; and one sister, Katheryn Wilson, Folsom, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, two brothers, and one grandson.
