A lifelong resident of Medford as well as a communicant of the First Community United Methodist Church, he married his beloved wife of 57 years Dorice T. (McCloud) Howland on February 03, 1945 in Medford, Massachusetts.
He was employed as a repairman for Sears for over 26 years. His enjoyed "fixing things" as well as reading.
He is the beloved husband of Dorice T. (McCloud). Loving father of Roberta and her husband George Martin of West Lebanon, N.H. and the late Priscilla and Lawrence Howland.
