HOMEDALE — A. M. Stansell, 64, of Homedale, a longtime resident of Idaho and a retired farmer, died Friday morning in a Caldwell hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Stansell was born July 23, 1889, at Bowers Mills, Mo. He moved to Idaho Falls in 1913 and farmed there until 1940, when he moved to Homedale. He retired from farming three years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Golda Stansell of Homedale; two sons, Edwin A. Stansell and Jack B. Stansell, both of Homedale; three daughters, Mrs. T. L. Watkins of Townsend, Mont., Mrs. Willard Osborne of Burbank, Cal., and Mrs. Ronald Finn of Middleton; one sister, Mrs. Ode Snow of Idaho Falls, and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at Peckham-Dakan chapel in Caldwell Monday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Clare Willcutts of Homedale will officiate and interment will be at Canyon Hill at Caldwell.
