Stanley A. Gray, 39, of the 1800 block of Azalea Ave., a contractor, died Sept. 21, 1993, in Portsmouth General Hospital. Mr. Gray was born in Portsmouth. He was a member of Third Baptist Church in Portsmouth and was employed with Diversified Concepts. Survivors include one son, DeAndre Gilmore; his mother, Lucy L. Gray; his father, Herman Gray Sr.; two sisters, Eugenia MacMillan and Helen C. Gray; and two brothers, Herman Gray Jr. and Reginald L. Gray, all of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Joe Fleming. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Serenity Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Family and friends will assemble at 1809 Azalea Ave. at 11:15 a.m. Friday for the processional to the church.
