Charles Warnken, Jr, age 86, of Pleasanton and San Antonio, formerly of Poth, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 in San Antonio. He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Nieschwietz) Warnken of San Antonio; sons, Byron Warnken and wife Dea, Kurt Warnken and wife Ivanna, James Warnken and wife Patsy all of Pleasanton; daughters, Lisa Warnken Burnside and husband John of Fair Oaks, and Ursula Warnken Wauters and husband Randy of Poth. Charles is also survived by his sister, Carol Warnken Jung of Fair Oaks; sister-in-law, Claire Nieschwietz Chesnutt of Rockport; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Ethel (Barnard) Warnken, Sr; and sisters, Catherine Warnken Bertrand, and Crystal Warnken Short.
Interment will follow in Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, in Poth.
