Katherine Hodgin Freeman was born to Eugene and Elsie Hodgin. On June 12, 1949, she married the love of her life, Willie Roscoe Freeman Sr. She is survived by her children Roscoe and Marilyn Freeman, Wayne and Cheryl Freeman and Karen Freeman all of Crossville, Kathy and Dennis JOhnson of DeFuniak Springs, Fl, Roy and Genia Freeman of O'Fallon, Mo., and Willene Freeman and Mike Grochowich of Orlando, Fl; four grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and siblings, Lois Miller, Patsy Qualls, Ralph Hodgin and Tony Hodgin all of Crossville and Wendell Hodgin of Dandridge, Tn. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Roscoe Freeman Sr. parents, grandson Willie Roscoe Freeman III and granddaughter Katie Palmer. Funeral services were held Dec. 29, at Hood Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Goldston and Bro. Danny Smith officiating. Pallbearers were Scott Anderson, Aaron Freeman, Ken Freeman, Wayne Freeman Jr., Mike Grochowich, Brian Hodgin. Andy Hodgin and Denis Johnson. Burial in Crossville City Cemetery.
