Harry M. "Pete" Peterson, 91, died Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Scandinavian Home, Cranston. He was the beloved husband for 68 years to Seline (Presbrey) Peterson.

He was born in Gotenburg, Sweden and came to the United States and has been a resident of Warwick for 62 years.

Mr. Peterson was an industrial engineer at the Bostitch Co. for over 20 years until his retirement in 1984. He was a member or Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Warwick, the Pioneer Lodge #506 Vasa Order of America, Friends of the Scandinavian Home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dana F. Peterson and his wife, June, of Trenton, ME; daughter, Kristine Gerrick and husband, Harold, of Parker, CO; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 6 at 11 am in the Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Ave., Warwick, preceded by a visitation in the Church Chapel at 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Interment with military honors in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pete's memory to the Church or to Vasa Park, Foster, RI, will be appreciated
