PERDUE, Miss Julia Ann, 87, a resident of Luverne died Thursday March 3, 2011. Miss Perdue retired from the State of Alabama, where she worked in the Archives and History Department. A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 pm Sunday March 6, 2011 at Emmaus Cemetery. Friends and family will meet at the cemetery Sunday. Miss Perdue is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Annie Lou Folmar Perdue and a brother, Jack (Yvonne) Perdue. Survivors include a brother, Guy (Betty) Perdue; seven nieces and nephews, Pat (Billy) Davis, Bob (Rita) Perdue, Jim Perdue, Tom (Penny) Perdue, Jill Baker, Jane (Harry) Stinson and Jason (Michelle) Perdue; and a number of great nieces and nephews.
