Curtis, Janet D. LA JOLLA -- Janet D. Curtis, 98, died December 11, 2014 in Madrid, Spain. She was born August 11, 1916 to James Grant and Alice Muriel Curtis Davidson in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Her last employment was with Copley Newspapers in La Jolla, between 1960 and 1981. Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Franklin Curtis in May 1997. She is survived by daughter, Margaret L. Patmore; as well as three grand- children and nine great- grandchildren of Madrid and by stepson, Harold T. Curtis of Yucaipa, CA; and his two daughters of Atlanta, Georgia. A memorial service with interment will be held at a later date at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego.
