M. surrounded by her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren and neighbors who had known her for thirty-five years. She had been seriously ill for over two weeks.Despite the fact that she had lived several years past the four score and she still maintained the old home where she and her husband reared their family and accumlated [sic] a competency. Few titles to Harper county land rest in the original owner but the Ayler homestead has never changed hands. Of the children born to this mother there remains one daughter Mrs. Knight of Denver and three sons Anderson, Andrew and W. Ball of whom reside in this community and are among the very best citizens of the county, reflecting great credit on their aged mother to whom they were devotedly attached. The funeral was held Wednesday and the remains interred by the side of her husband who preceded her about 25 years.
