Cody was a graduate of the Bunker Hill High School Class of 1998. He was a laborer for Local 338, Wood River, IL. Cody enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports. He was a wonderful father. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Ruth Adams of Woodburn, IL, son, Cody Joshua Adams, Jr. of Bunker Hill, IL, sisters, Mary Elizabeth Roberts of Ohio, Dawn Springman of East Alton, IL, Angie Adams of Hartford, IL, Jody Layton of California, brothers, Donnie Benton of East Alton, IL, Wayne Adams Jr of Cottage Hills, IL, Lonnie (Lonzo) Adams of Cottage Hills, IL, Robert Goodbrake of Arkansas, Raymond Goodbrake of Bunker Hill, IL, special friend, Michelle Adams of Cottage Hills, IL, grandfather, Leroy French of Arkansas and he was a great uncle of many. Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Adams, Mary Seipp, Mildred Davis and brother, Tony Benton.
