Pearl L. Roark of Benton Station died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000. She was 96. She was a retired nurse from the pediatric floor at Bradley Memorial Hospital, and a member of North Etowah Baptist Church.
She was the widow of John Burke Roark.
Survivors include three daughters, Edna Hallmark, Flint, Mich., Mary Jane Benton, Benton Station, and LeAnne Scarbrough, Dallas, Texas; sister, Juanita Fuller, Monroe, Mich.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. David Evans officiating.
Burial will be in Birchwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
