Elsie Faye Piercy Nichols was married to Youel Valcie Nichols.

She was the daughter of Dewey Hobson Piercy and Troy Oma Mae Tallent Piercy.

Elsie Faye worked in aircraft factory in California during her younger years (during the war), then she worked most of her life in the Laundry business.

She and Youel had three children, including Janice Sue "Sudie" Nichols Eslin.

"Funeral Services for Elsie Faye Nichols will be conducted Friday, March 6 at 2 pm in the Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Perkey officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home.

Elsie Faye Nichols passed away March 3, 1992 in her home at the age of 68. She was born September 28, 1923 in Carter, Oklahoma to Dewey and Oma Piercy. On October 16, 1948 she married Youel V. Nichols. They made their home in Elk City.

Survivors include her children; Wanda and Carl R. Crabb of Tulsa Janice and Jimmy (Eslin) Elsin of Elk City and one son; Jerry and Sally Nichols of Elk City. Six granchildren; Kelly, Andrea, and Carissa Crabb of Tulsa. Deidra (Eslin) Elsin of Elk City and Alexander and Diamond Nichols of Elk City. Two brothers; Edward Piercy of Portersville, California and Dewayne Piercy of Elk City. Four sisters; Nora Parmley of Little Kansas, Oklahoma; Novella Hanna of Tucson, Arz.; Ineta Roden of Elk City and Judy Smith of Amarillo, Tx. Also a host of other relatives. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one grandchild; Edward Shane Nichols, one brother; Charles Piercy and one sister; Verna Mae Poole."
