Christian Messenger April 7, 1875 "In Memoriam - Mrs. Agnes J Philp, beloved wife of Reverend Bridgetown Philp and youngest daughter of David C and Mary Landers of Nictaux, died at Hantsport on the 27th March, aged 26 years. Her remains were conveyed to Wilmot by train on Wednesday, the 31st ult., and funeral services were conducted in the Pine Grove Church with Reverend William Bleakney officiating, assisted by Reverend Dr. Robertson, Episcopalian and Reverend JJ Teasdale, Methodist. Interment was in the adjacent burial ground."
