Mrs. Amelia S. Neilsen, wife of Hans Neilsen, died Saturday evening after a four months' illness.
Mrs. Neilsen was born in Mt. Pleasant, May 7, 1864. her parents, Hans J. and Caroline Peal Simpson, were pioneers of Utah in the early fifties. She was married in Manti, March 13, 1890, to Hans Neilsen, a farmer and woo-grower of this community.
Mrs. Neilsen was the mother of three children, two daughters having preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Francis J. Neilsen, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Peter Frandsen, Mrs. Axel Bjelka and Peter Simpson, all of Mt. Pleasant; Christian Simpson of Spanish Fork, and Mrs. Hannah Cowly of Salt Lake. Mrs. Neilsen was an active Relief Society worker.
