Michael E. Staggs, 53, retired from Pro Muffler in Franklin died Friday, January 2, 2014 at his residence in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Tony Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was a member of Bigbyville United Methodist Church and was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Tramel Staggs of Nashville; mother, Linda Mai Briggs Palmer of Columbia; daughters, Faith Elizabeth Staggs of Culleoka and Mabel Ann Staggs of Lawrenceburg; sister, Paula Adkins of Columbia; grandchildren, Thomas Alexander McGaw and Charles Anthony James McGaw, Jr.; niece, Briana Staggs; nephews, Joshua Adkins and Dalton Adkins; step-sons, Matthew Tramel and Jacob Tramel.
