Marjorie L. (Jackson) Kesler, 86, died November 21, 2011 after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family. A homemaker, she was born June 28, 1925, in Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, Jacksonville,
FL in 1943. She is predeceased by her parents, Harvey M. Jackson, Sr. and Annie Jackson, her brother, Harvey M. Jackson, Jr., her sister, Dorothy Wells, and her husband of 48 years, John W. "Jay" Kesler (1921-1995). She is survived by her son, John Kesler, daughter, Kathy Kesler, granddaughter, Heather, nieces, Suzanne Norris, Sherry (Kesler) Adams, Cynthia "Cindy" (Kesler) Hartsfield, Vicki Lorraine (Kesler) King, and nephew, Thomas O'dell "Tommy" Kesler, IV. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2011, at 3:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church, 118 E. Monroe Street, Jacksonville, FL, with Rev. Robert Morris of ciating. The family will receive friends at a reception at the church immediately following the service. In lieu of owers, please make a donation to N. E. Florida Community Hospice or to The First Presbyterian Church in the name of Marjorie Kesler. Arrangements are by Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
