Anthony Eugene “Tony” Warner, 49, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at his home. He was born January 30, 1963 in Charleston, IL, the son of Vera Ruth Warner.
Survivors include son, Cameron Warner and wife Brandi of Fort Sill, OK; son, Taylor Warner of Casey, IL and daughter, Myriah Warner of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Madison and McKinley Warner of Fort Sill, OK; mother, Ruth Storment and husband Garry of Ashmore, IL; brothers, Steve Brandt, Jr. and wife Brenda of Westfield, IL; Terry Brandt and wife Donna of Columbia City, IN; Charles Todd Coleman and wife Jolee of Effingham, IL and Randall Kirk and fiancé Hillary Benefield of Carmel, IN; sisters, Sharon Van Ness and husband Ron of Lerna, IL; Shella Fite of New Carlyle, OH and Stephanie Schrock and husband Lewis of Lerna, IL and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Brandt and brother, George Brandt.
Tony was a 1981 graduate of Westfield High School and a graduate of Lake Land College, Mattoon, IL. He was a US Army Veteran, serving his country from 1984 to 1987. Tony attended the Salisbury Church in Charleston, IL. He loved to fish and Indian Lore; he especially enjoyed making dream catchers and necklaces from arrow heads. He was a loving and devoted father to his children.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL with Rev. Scott Sims officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
