Born in Thomasville, NC on January 20, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Walter Harrison Daniels and Helen Inez Brewer Daniels.
Brenda was employed for twenty-six years at Carolina Shoe and then worked for seven years at Ingles Supermarket.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Reid Daniels.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby Ray Higgins of the home; daughters, Lisa Dianne Higgins and Tim Rogers of Morganton, Kimberly Dawn Higgins and David Johnson of Lincolnton, NC, and Donna Jean Koontz and her husband, Kenneth of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Jeffrey Ray Norman, Brittany Nicole Greene, Dustin Douglas Wyatt, Amber Dawn Wyatt, Rodney Alton Lee and his wife, Jennifer, and Donna Renee Surratt; great grandchildren, Christain Brandon Lee, Grayson Lynn Lee, and Jerry Wayne "Trey" Surratt, III; and a brother, Paul Harrison Daniels of Denton, NC.
