Cora Allen, 87, retired cook, passed Thurs. Dec. 6 in Tallahassee. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Sat. Dec. 15, at St. Rosa PB Church in Tallahassee where she was a lifelong member. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The funeral cortege will assemble at 10:30am, Saturday at 1820 Hartsfield Rd in Tallahassee.
Ms. Cora will rest in the mortuary from 3-7pm, Fri. Dec. 14, at RICHARDSON'S FAMILY FUNERAL CARE OF TALLAHASSEE (850)576-4144. She was a member of usher board # 1, & a member of Pallbearer lodge # 45, a volunteer for Elder Care Services, A former employee for over 32 years at Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She leaves to cherish her fond memories son: Jeffery E. Brown (Dianne); daughter: Ola B. Sawyer; God daughter: Sandretta E. James; grand sons: Andre K. Johnson( Dorothy), Alex Oglivie; grand daughters: Shakia S. Sawyer, Zardinett Oglivie; (5) great grands; brother: Samuel A. Allen; sister: Lula M.
