Funeral services celebrating the life of Dallas C. Roberts will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 5, 2015 at Kingsville Baptist Church, Ball with Reverend Bart Walker officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.

The family requests that visitation be observed at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Roberts, 87, of Ball, passed from this life on Friday, January 2, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his wife and children.

Mr. Roberts was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church of Ball and the Telephone Pioneers.
During his working career, he began as a lineman in Lubbock, Texas and later transferred to Fort Worth, Texas. He then moved his family to Alexandria, Louisiana, finishing his career as an engineer for South Central Bell, retiring after 32 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Cora Rush Roberts; brothers, Wilburn C. Roberts, Maxwell L. Roberts, Varnell E. Roberts, Sr. and Jimmy Wayne Roberts and sister, Mary R. Fruge.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 68 years, Johnnie Brunson Roberts; son, Terry L. Roberts and wife, Bonnie; daughter, Linda R. Elkins and husband, Ronnie; brothers, Irwin Roberts and Adrian Roberts; grandchildren, Ryan K. Elkins, Reagan E. Elkins and wife, Leslie, William Errin Roberts and wife, Julie, Clayton Charles Roberts and Thomas Dawson Roberts; great grandchildren, Caden W. Elkins, Joy Vianne Elkins, Samuel Thomas Roberts and Lillian Grace Roberts.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Sarah Thomson Memorial Offering, C/O Kingsville Baptist Church, 3911 Monroe Highway, Pineville, LA, 71360.
