Dennis Jenkins, age 75, formerly of Centerville, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dennis was born January 2, 1939, in Lenoir City, Tennessee, to Clarence and Geneva Bolt Jenkins. He was a 1957 graduate of Centerville High School. Dennis also was a former resident of Greenfield and Indianapolis, Indiana. Survivors include his wife, Rena Johnson Jenkins of Lilburn, Georgia; children, Marcia Beaulieu of Zionsville, Indiana, Rick (Candy) Jenkins of Carmel, Indiana, Richard (Jen) Lux of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Kim (Chuck) Watola of Covington, Georgia, and Steve Lux of North Vernon, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister; Mary Ellen (Steve) Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother, Larry (Sharon) Jenkins of North Carolina; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Lee Jenkins; parents; and brother, Jackie Jenkins. Visitation for Dennis Jenkins will be from 12 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
