Danny R. "Dan" Caldwell, 59, of Elizabethtown, died at 4:19 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
Dan was born February 3, 1955, in Owenton, Kentucky, the son of Walter B. and Lucy A. Fortner Caldwell. He was a superintendent at Repp and Mundt, Inc. for 22 years. He was a member of the Laborers Union and loved NASCAR.

He is survived by son, Eric Daniel Caldwell of Columbus; daughters, Kimberly Dawn Perkinson, Holly Ann Caldwell and Heather Rene Caldwell all of Columbus; sisters, Lori (Jerry) DeHaven of Columbus and Debbie (Rick) Caldwell of Elizabethtown; brothers, Tim (Pam) Caldwell and Brian Caldwell of Columbus; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until service time. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
