~My Aunt Daisy~

Daisy Mae Ellis was born March 22,1929 in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana to Rossie George Ellis and John William Ellis. Daisy was Rossie and John's fifth child and third daughter. Daisy graduated from Pride High School.
Daisy married Clyde Leroy "Roy" Harrington on July 29, 1949 in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Daisy and Roy were blessed with four children, three daughters and one son. Daisy was a member of Zoar Baptist Church where she helped start the first kindergarten at the church. Daisy was a kindergarten teacher there at Zoar for many years. Daisy loved children and children loved her. Daisy went to her eternal home to be one of Heaven's Angels on Oct. 12, 2005 and she leaves to cherish her memory her 4 children and their spouses, 5 grandchildren, 8 g-grandchildren, 1 sister, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Daisy was a loving daughter, a wonderful wife and mother and the best aunt anyone could ever have. She is greatly missed by those who loved her but they find comfort in knowing she is in God's Loving Care.
