Richard “Cowboy” Finn, 74, of Pueblo, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 31, 2014. He was born Sept. 6, 1940, to the late Emelio and Dorothy (Martinez) Finn. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Rosalia Finn and Betty Romero; brother, John Finn; and godson, Nate Wolfe. He is survived by his siblings, Ben Finn, Ernie Finn, Diane Finn, Donna (Rudy) Martinez, and Shirley (Dave Lucero) Marron; goddaughter, Lynette Bales; his “right-hand man,” and son Chris Finn; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Richard proudly served our country as a Marine and retired as a custodian from CMHIP in 2006. He loved camping, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed family traditions, including 4th of July in San Isabel, Fiesta Day, making biscochitos and playing Santa for Christmas. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation, noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Angelus Chapel. Rosary vigil, 6 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Tuesday, both services at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Father Benjamin Bacino officiating. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Military Honors by Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team.
