Ruth was born to John and Rose Baker in Salt Lake City, Utah. She died at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She married Leonard D. Bell on September 5, 1942. Survived by Husband Leonard; three sons, Stephen, Sandy; Jimmie D., West Valley; Michael W., Murray; daughter, Mrs. Gary (Lona)Korous, Ft Worth, TX; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack and Hal Baker, Salt Lake City. Graveside services and burial were held April 11 at the Lake Hills Cemetery, Sandy.
