Clayton M. Atkins, age 77, of Millsboro, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD.
Clayton was born in Millsboro the son of the late, Raymond and Elva (Griffin) Atkins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Atkins. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Betty J. Atkins; daughter, Donna Atkins; a sister, Doretta Truitt; nephews, Raymond, Keith and Brian Atkins; nieces, Kelsi and Merisa Atkins.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street in Frankford, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Millsboro Cemetery.
