She was born February 8, 1929, in Durham County, to the late Ogden Gray and Flossie Virginia Landreth McClamrock. Mrs. Myers was of the Baptist faith, a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and very active at the Davie County Senior Center. She had worked for Sanford Motor Company, Reavis Ford, Cleary Auto Sales and Winebarger Ford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hayden Cunnelis Myers; two sisters, Polly Vaughn and Mary Nell Conrad; and one brother, Raymond McClamrock.
Survivors include three children, Richard Barry Myers (Lynda), Stephen Myers (Janie) and Susan Cohen, all of Mocksville; five grandchildren, Amy Myers Kapp, Brian Myers (Kelly), Stephanie Vest (Chris), Amanda Quinn (Justin) and Seth Cohen; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Grady McClamrock (Lucy) and Ron McClamrock, all of Mocksville; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m., Sunday, January 4, at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Shelby Harbour officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Advance.
