Mr. Peel was born in Mt. Pleasant November 18, 1886, a son of Christian Fredrick and Mary Miranda Seely Peel. He married Karen Johanna Olsen September 2, 1908 in the Manti Temple. She died 17 years ago. He was a farmer and a stockman. He served three foreign missions and two stake missions for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of North Sanpete high council, ward clerk, president of the Twin Creek Irrigation Company; secretary of North Sanpete Water Users.
Surviving are a son and daughters; Paul R. Peel, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Mark (Ruth) Nicholas, Minot, North Dakota; Mrs. Thomas H. (Glenna) L--, Roy; Mrs. Herbert J. (Carolyn) Redd, Salt Lake City; 23 grandchildren; brother, John Peel, Mt. Pleasant.
