Cheryl was born in Natchez, Mississippi and was raised in Ferriday, LA. A longtime resident of the Lake Charles, she served at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s since 1999, most recently office as an AFIS specialist involved in fingerprint and tattoo recognition. Cheryl truly lived to love her family.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years; children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother and sisters.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM Wednesday January 7, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 10:00 AM. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday. As to Cheryl’s wishes, her remains will be cremated following funeral services, with her ashes to be buried alongside her twin sister at the Natchez City Cemetery in Natchez, Mississippi.
