Leona is listed in numerous records as maiden name Meyers. She is listed as Meyer also in some records. It appears the correct spelling is Meyer. Her father was listed as Meyers in at least one record but is Meyer on his gravestone. Leona died in Washington and her State of WA death certificate says her father was Joseph Meyers which apparently was a mistake. Leona's gravestone says she was born in 1887, BUT, her WA death certificate says she was born in 1888. Sigh. Isn't genealogy "fun" sifting through all the mistakes all over everywhere.
