Charles Bryant
Charles Bryant, 66, a farmer residing one-half mile north and a half mile west of Akron died Friday night about 5:30 o'clock after a short illness. He was taken ill about noon and lived only a few hours. Death was due to apoplexy. The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Mt. Vernon church, with the Rev. Hal Norton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon cemetery.
Mr. Bryant is well known in and around Winfield where he has resided for more then 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma W. Bryant and seven children Owen Bryant, Mrs. Josie Oldham, Newman Bryant, Miss Georgia Bryant, Mrs. Mary Frier all of whom reside near Winfield and Otis Bryant and Helen Bryant at home.
