She was a member of the Congregational Church and active in charity work. The mother of 7 children, 4 survive. Mrs Isaac Callendar of Galeburg, Mrs David Holmes of Chicago, James Smith of Thornton ARK, and Mrs James Pidgeon of Roxbury MA. A sister, Catherine Smith of Boston survives, She is 82 years old.
