Hayden Scott, 91, Rossville, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014. He has lived in Rossville for over 80 years and loved woodworking and bird watching from his back porch. Hayden was a veteran of the US Army serving in World War II. He was retired from Rossville Development Corporation and had worked at the Ace Hardware Store in Fort Oglethorpe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mamie Scott.
Hayden is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Louise Scott; daughters, Linda Scott (Bob) Kane, Williamsburg, VA, and Sharon Scott (Larry) Kisor, Rossville; sisters, Catherine Prince, Chattanooga and Edith Wright, Rossville; grandchildren, Amy (Chewey) Lynch, Norfolk, VA, Beth (Scott) Morrish, Canton, GA, Allison Kisor, Rock Spring, Scott Kisor, Flintstone; great-grandchildren, Stone and Hayden Lynch and Reece and Fuller Morrish.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Bill McArthur and Rev. Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
