Marian Ruth Ray. Born May 5, 1925, died December 27, 2014 in Lifecare Center of Gwinnett after a long full life. Predeceased by her husband, Philip J. Ray; and son, Thomas V. Ray. Survived by sons, Joseph Ray, Jack Ray, Andrew F. Ray and Christopher and Lilly Sutphin; as well as numerous grand and great grandchildren; including Christian and Daniel Sutphin and Nicole J. Hardy. She will be buried next to her husband, Philip, in Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Syracuse, New York as per her wishes. Marian was an only child and daughter of Bessie Solin of the Benedict family from the Norwich, New York area. She has resided near Atlanta GA since moving from the Tipperary Hill area of Syracuse in the early 2000's. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to TheSmileTrain.org. Graveside Services: noon Friday, January 2, 2015 St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
