Don L. Warren, 60, of Shelbyville, died Friday, May 9, 2003, at his home.

Born March 8, 1943, he was the son of Clarence L. Warren and Nina Mae (Joseph) Parr.

Survivors include his parents of Clemmons, N.C.; one daughter, Jennifer Brooks of Waldron; one stepdaughter, Sherri Livingston of Indianapolis; two brothers, Roy West of Orlando, Fla. and Brent West of Clemmons; three sisters, Sue Smith of Franklin, Dawn Palmer of Indianapolis and Candee Delker of Clemmons; one stepsister, Louise Boger of Russell Springs, Ky.; two grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.

Mr. Warren was a lifetime resident of Shelbyville, working for 35 years as a welder with Wellman Thermal Systems in Shelbyville. He retired from the company this year.

He attended Shelbyville High School.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge #2118, American Legion Post #70, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #766 and the Fraternal Order of Police Shelby Lodge #84, all in Shelbyville.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in Vietnam.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service Monday at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be noon Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Humphrey officiating.

Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, with graveside military services conducted by local veterans organizations.
