She was born Sept. 27, 1929 in Atlanta, the daughter of George and Goldie Miller Williams. She married Lloyd Goodin. He preceded her in death in 2002. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by one daughter, Penny (Neil) Passfield and two grandsons, Aaron (fiancé, Ashley) Passfield and Seth (Amber) Passfield.
She was a member of South Fork Church of Christ and was an operator for General Telephone in Bloomington. She then worked at the Atlanta Library and for Dick and Mary Johnson on their chicken farm as a housekeeper and nanny for years. She later worked at Illinois Agricultural Association, where she retired. Mary then spent time volunteering at Memorial Medical Center Baylis Building Day Surgery.
