Funeral services for Latrece D. Johnson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethesda Fellowship Ministries, 1803 Pecan Cove Drive, Copperas Cove, with Bishop R. Ray Gatewood officiating. Interment will follow at Killeen Memorial Park, Lake Road, Killeen.
Ms. Johnson died Dec. 29, 2014, unexpectedly. She was born May 22, 1983, in Helena, Ark., to Royel Jr. and Mary Johnson.
She was an educator, working first for the Killeen Independent School District, and more recently for Belton Independent School District.
She also worked as a service assistant for Heritage Funeral Home.
Ms. Johnson served briefly in the U.S. Air Force, played football and was a huge Longhorns fan. Her favorite color was hot pink.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Amariyanna Willis; loving parents, Royel Jr. and Mary Johnson; brother, Royel Johnson III; grandparents, Arlena Hall and Royel and Pearlie Johnson; and ex-husband, Ronnie Willis.
