Mark Blevins, age 37, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014. He was born November 27, 1977, in Creve Coeur, Mo., to Ralph Jr. and Loraine Anne (Hubert) Blevins.
Mark graduated from Eureka High School in 1996 and earned a Bachelor's Degree from MSU in 2003. He worked in construction for MGM Properties in Republic, Mo. He attended Central Baptist Church in Eureka, Mo., and volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program in Springfield.
Mark loved the outdoors and preferred to be outside fishing, hunting, biking, or golfing. He also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues Hockey team.
Mark is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Margaret (Officer) Blevins from Harrison, Ark.; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Marjourie (Tickle) Hubert from Cassville, Mo.; and his father Ralph Blevins, Jr. who was a longtime educator with the Rockwood school district.
He is survived by his mother, Loraine A. Blevins; his brother, David A. Blevins and his wife Julie L. Blevins; niece, Alexa B. Mason and nephew Zachary T. Mason; his cousins, Charlie and C.J. Tabor; Button and Eric Mann; Sue Anne and Steve Edford; his Aunt Marj and Ron Parish.
